DURATION: August 24 - December 8 PRICE: $435.00 INSTRUCTOR: Ralph Buie COURSE DESCRIPTION MISS 2305 The course examines the major non-Christian religions of the world as well as three predominate alternative religions. The class features a general introduction to the religion and explores the history, major figures, tenets, and sacred texts of the particular religion. The course endeavors to discuss similarities and differences between the non-Christian religions and Apostolic Pentecostalism with a view of discovering a possible bridge for evangelization. Prerequisites: NA. TEXTBOOK(S): Textbook: "Neighboring Faiths: A Christian Introduction to World Religions", 2nd Edition: Winfried Corduan The instructor will provide pdf copies of portions of the text as reading assignments.
