COURSE DESCRIPTION This course aims to focus the student upon the nature of missions as found in the historical narratives of the New Testament and contrast these views with the historical practice of historical Christianity. In addition, this class will look closely at Apostolic soteriology and draw clear distinctions between the Apostolic soteriological model and the Catholic, Reformed and Evangelical soteriological models. Correct theology is the basis for sound methodologies. This course will provide a basis for the remainder of the church-planting curriculum that will be focused on practical strategies and methods.
